THE PROJECT:
Kids rooms are still my favorite spaces to design, you can take more risks and be more playful with color. Dezaar Interiors was hired to transform this room, previously used as a study into a space suitable for a toddler. We repainted the room and added the fun striped ceiling. All new furniture and accessories in a fun but not babyish color palette totally transformed the room. The chalkboard wall is a fun feature and even the closet received a makeover! This room was featured in Minneapolis St Paul Magazine.
The Client:
The cutest 4 year old boy you can imagine. He had previously been sleeping in a different room and was ready to transition into his “big boy” room.
THE Inspiration:
Remember Jenna Lyon’s nursery in the original Domino, the one with the striped yellow ceiling? That was totally the inspiration for this room.
